Voters in the community will have an opportunity to get to know the candidates in upcoming elections a little better Tuesday morning and enjoy a cup of coffee in the process.

The Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting “Coffee and the Candidates” beginning at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in an effort to allow candidates to introduce themselves to the community.

Candidates hoping to win seats in municipal elections in Brewton, East Brewton and Riverview as well as county seats will be on hand to meet and greet the public.

Each candidate will be given a brief period to introduce themselves and the office they hope to hold after the election. Time will be limited for each candidate attending the event.

Refreshments will be provided by David’s Catfish House with limited seating available.

The event will be held at The Ritz in downtown Brewton just off the boardwalk area and will conclude by 10 a.m.
