Adron Hendrix Otts

Mr. Adron Hendrix Otts, 90, of Waveland, Miss., died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012 in a Mississippi nursing facility after a brief illness.

He was a native of Fayette County and was a resident of Loxley from 1960 to 2009 when he moved to Mississippi. He was of the Methodist faith and was a retired heavy equipment operator with the State of Alabama Highway Department with 37 years of service.

He is survived by a son, Ferrel Otts of Brewton; two daughters, Shelia Otts Arnold of Waveland, Miss., and Janet (Richard) Lucey of Cario, Ga.; five sisters, Marthellon Otts (Haskill) Johnson, Marcheta Otts Houston, Margarett Otts Baines, Marcenie Otts Sprinkle and Elizabeth Otts (Jerry) Tew; seven grandchildren, Debbie Otts Niblock, Connie Otts Campbell, Daniel Farver, Byron Farver, Alabama Lucey, Missy Lucey Roberts and Matthew Lucey; eight great-grandchildren, Colin Campbell, Casey Campbell, Brannon Niblock, Walt Niblock, Rebecca Roberts, Anna Roberts, Megan Roberts, Katie Roberts; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside services are planned for Thursday, Aug. 23 at 11 a.m. at Miller Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Caylor officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery in the Little Rock Community near Flomaton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
