Annie Mable ‘Mae’ Hill Kyles

Mrs. Annie Mable “Mae” Hill Kyles, 79, died Aug. 16, 2012. She was a native of Conecuh County and was raised in Castleberry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearlie McMillan Famous and Ivery Hill; her grandparents, John and Polllie Bogan; her husband of 54 years, Solomon “Pete” Kyles.
She is survived by 10 children, Annie (Eddie) Davis of Century Fla., Soloman Kyles Jr., Timmy (Rita) Kyles, Tonya (David) Kyles and Adam Kyles, all of  Flomaton, Debbie Kyles of Minneapolis, Minn., David (Vanessa} Kyles of Brewton, Corean (Ronald) Williams and Ivory (Anthony} Stallworth, both of Pensacola, Fla., Lynn  (Afise) Kyles of South Carolina; 28 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Juanita (Jesse) Duprice of Mableton, Ga., Anita Wilson of Colorado Springs, Col., and Gloria Robbins of Pensacola; two brothers, Herman Robbins and Sherman Robbins, both of Pensacola; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jane Alice (Charles) Kyles, Mary Alice Kyles, Georgia Mae Showers, James (Ora D.) Kyles, A.C. (Charistine) Kyles, Leonard Kyles and Leroy (Diane) Kyles and a host of  other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 11 a.m. at Zion Fountain AME Zion Church on Sowell Road, with the Rev. H.K. Matthews officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery in Atmore with Christian Memorial Funeral Home directing.
