The Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk volleyball team remained winless this season as they dropped a 3-0 loss at Gulf Coast Tuesday.
JDCC lost set one 25-15, set two 25-19 and set three 25-20.
Ki Ki Youngblood had six kills and one block and one block assist in the loss while Tara Gafford had three kills, three solo blocks, one block assist and one ace.
Victoria Bracewell had three kills, one solo block and one ace.
Kayla White finished with two kills, one solo block, one block assist, one ace and 13 assists in the loss.
“Going to Gulf Coast State College was our first real road trip and the girls responded well,” JDCC head coach Misti Nims said. “We had an opportunity to win match two but currently we do night have a killer instinct. We played well at times during all three matches but we gave Gulf Cost too many points. We are headed in the right direction and I believe that Friday and Saturday will be positive days for us. Once we get that first win, the others will follow.”
JDCC is scheduled to be back in action at home Friday against Sneads. Game time is set for 6 p.m. in Brewton.
