TRM cross country runs in Wildcat Invitational

In their second race of the 2012 season Saturday in Pace at the Washington Wildcat Invitational, the T.R. Miller boys cross country team came in 12th place while the girls came in seventh.
The boys placed 12th out of 21 teams while the girls placed seventh out of 18 teams.
Leading the race for the Tiger boys was Rob Stokes who ran a time of 17:38.67 for 23rd place.
Christian Carlson came in 48th with a time of 18:27.29 and Carter Frezell placed 83rd with a time of 20:09.35.
Ryan Snowden and John West placed 106th and 107th respectively with times of 21:16.17 and 21:23.59.
Dillon Simmons rounded out the Tiger runners with a time of 22:13.60 for 124th place.
In the girls race, Karisa Nelson came in second place with a time of 19:11.47 and Allie Nelson placed seventh with a time of 20:12.52.
Katie Nelson finished in 53rd place with a time of 22:43.30 and Amber Terry came in 71st with a time of 23:41.87. Lindsay Norton ran a time of 23:51.62 for a 75th-place finish and Payton Baxter came in 94th with a time of 25:17.21.
Morgan Rowell rounded out T.R. Miller’s runners with a time of 27:42.35 for 112th place.
T.R. Miller will run Saturday at the Gulf Coast Stampede in Pensacola. Race time is set for 8 a.m.
