WSNMS and JV volleyball teams get wins

The W.S. Neal Middle School and JV volleyball teams came out winners in their most recent games Tuesday and Wednesday.
The middle school team improved to 8-1 this year after defeating Flomaton Tuesday at home and then sweeping a double home match with McCall Wednesday.
In JV action, the Lady Eagles took down Flomaton in a double match Tuesday at home to improve to 5-4 this season.
W.S. Neal Middle School was set to be back in action Thursday, Sept. 27 when they travel to T.R. Miller. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
The JV Lady Eagles will be back in action against T.R. Miller at 5 p.m. on Sept. 27.
The varsity Lady Eagles will host a home match Tuesday against Flomaton and Jay. Game time is set for 4 p.m. against Flomaton and 6 p.m. against Jay.

WSNMS 2, Flomaton 0
Against Flomaton Tuesday at home, W.S. Neal won 2-0. The Lady Eagles won set one 25-5 and set two 25-8.
In set one, MeMe Lawson led with 12 straight service points to end the game with three being aces.
In set two, Dinah Samuel led with 12 straight to open the game. Two points were aces.

Game one: WSN JV 2, Flomaton 0
In JV action against Flomaton Tuesday, W.S. Neal won 2-0. The Lady Eagles took down Flomaton 25-11 and 25-21.
In set one for W.S. Neal, Brittany Lucas led with six points and DonNavia Williams added five.
In set two, Madison Winchester led with four points.

Game two: WSN JV 2, Flomaton 1
In game two, W.S. Neal won 2-1. The Lady Eagles won the first set 25-9 before losing set two 25-23. In the third set tiebreaker, W.S. Neal won 15-8.
In set one, Brittany Lucas led with seven service points. In set two, Maddie Bush led with four points. In set three, Williams led with three points.

Wednesday game one against McCall: WSN 2, McCall 0
In game one against McCall Wednesday at home, W.S. Neal won 2-0. The Lady Eagles won set one 25-3 and set two 25-20.
In set one, Haleigh Dubose led with 15 service points. In set two, Erin Hartzel led with 11 service points.

Wednesday game two against McCall: WSN 2, McCall 0
In game two against McCall Wednesday at home, W.S. Neal won 2-0. The Lady Eagles won set one 25-13 and set two 25-11.
In set one, Dinah Samuel led with eight service points. In set two, Marisha Frazer led with 12.
