JDCC volleyball falls to Faulkner but defeats Mobile JV

The Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk volleyball team saw their record go to 4-6 overall after they split their last two games.
JDCC lost a conference game at Faulkner State 3-1 to fall to 3-6 overall and to 1-2 in conference play.
JDCC lost set one 25-12 but won set two 25-18 to tie the match up at 1-all. In the third set, the Lady Warhawks lost 25-14 and fell 25-20 in the fourth set to take the loss.
JDCC got back on the winning track following their loss to Faulkner State as they took down the University of Mobile JV team 3-2 to improve to 4-6.
JDCC lost the first set to Mobile 25-19 but took set two 25-21. In the third set, JDCC lost 25-22, but rallied to win the fourth set 25-23 and tie the match up at four and force a deciding fifth set.
In the fifth and final set, JDCC won 15-10 to take the match.
JDCC will be back in action Tuesday night at home when they take on Pensacola State College. Game time is set for 6 p.m. at Warhawk Gym on the campus of Jefferson Davis Community College in Brewton.

Faulkner State 3, JDCC 1
In their third conference game of the season, JDCC lost to Faulkner State 3-1 to fall to 3-6 overall and to 1-2 in conference play.
Leading JDCC in the loss was Ki Ki Youngblood with eight kills. Jennifer Daniels had 15 total attacks and Victoria Bracewell led with three service aces. Daniels also led with 10 digs and Tara Gafford led with five solo blocks.

JDCC 3, Mobile-JV 2
In a road game in Mobile, JDCC defeated the University of Mobile JV team 3-2.
In the win, Youngblood led with 14 kills and 27 total attacks. Daniels finished with five service aces while Amber McMillan had eight digs. Gafford led with two solo blocks.
