The Fall Scholastic Book Fair will be held at Brewton Middle School in the media center to give parents and students an opportunity to purchase books that provide both entertainment and education.

A special Family Event day will kick-off the book fair Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. The Family Event is in conjunction with the school’s Parent Contact Day observed across the state.

The fair will continue daily from 7:45 a.m. until 3 p.m. through Nov. 2nd. 

Parents who are unable to attend the book fair during regular operating hours, may visit the Scholastic book fair Website to shop and make purchases.

Organizers are encouraging students and parents to shop at the event and make purchases that will help both the student and the media center and its resources. Since the schools media center has not received any state funding during the last four years, any funds for the center are greatly needed. Proceeds from the fair will be the primary source of funding for new books for the center.
