Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk basketball head coach Allen Gainer has announced his team’s schedule for the 2012-2013 season.
The Warhawks have played three exhibition games in October before beginning the season Friday, Nov. 2 on the road at Pensacola State.
JDCC will have their first home game on Saturday, Nov. 10 when they host William Carey College. Game time is set for 2 p.m. in Brewton.
The Warhawks will play a 24-game regular season schedule with 11 home games scheduled and 13 away games.
JDCC will play 14 conference games with seven being home and seven away.
The Warhawks posted their best season in years last season as they went 19-10 overall and 11-3 in conference play. The Warhawks advanced to the semifinal round of the regional tournament before falling to the eventual champion.
Gainer was named conference and league coach of the year last season, but only returns one player from last year’s team with 14 new players.
