Annie Voncile Sherrer Locke

Mrs. Annie Voncile Sherrer Locke, 81, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native and life long resident of Brewton, AL. Mrs. Locke attended Alco Baptist Church, a 1949 graduate of T.R. Miller High School and was the Head Librarian at the Brewton Public Library for many years.

She is survived by four daughters, Beverly (Paul) Wade of Brewton, AL, Sandra (Rev. Jim) Jines of Blountstown, FL, Jennifer (David) Mally of Houston, TX, Lori (Richard) Hall of Athens, AL; two sisters, Willene Watson of Florence, AL, Velma Wright of Bay Minette, AL; five grandchildren, Kimberly Wade, Amy (Rocky) Madden, Ricky Hall, Caroline Mally, Jackson Mally; two great grandchildren, Abigail Madden and Katie Madden. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Cecil Locke; parents, William and Willa Mae Sherrer and two brothers, Otis Sherrer and Buddy Sherrer.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 29, from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 29, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Jines officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetary with Williams Chapel Funeral Home directing.
