Betty Elaine Parris Weaver

Mrs. Betty Elaine Parris Weaver of Parker Street in East Brewton, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012, after an extended illness. She was a native of Ft Leonardwood, Mo., and a longtime resident of East Brewton. She attended W. S. Neal High School and was of the Protestant faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Nathaniel Parris; her mother, Mary Jean Nelson; her husband, Earl Thompson; her husband, Mark Weaver; her Sister, Vivian “Sissy” McCoy; and her daughter, Rachel Thompson.
She is survived by a son, Kevin(Brenda) Thompson of East Brewton; two daughters, Melissa (Tim) Ball of East Brewton and Krystal (Rick) Beecher of Pollard, a brother, Michael Nichols of Brewton; three sisters, Roberta (Gary) Gilbert of Brewton; Hilda (John) Paulian of Columbus, Ohio, and Debra Taylor of Arizona; seven grandchildren, Alex Weaver, Angelina Desjardins, Austin Beecher, Brenton Ball, Delaina Ball, Aimey Wilson and Kyree Thompson; and other family members and friends.
Memorial services were held Friday, Nov. 23, at 6:15 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Speaker Jared Pilkington officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
