Twelve schools punched their tickets to the 2012 Super 6 AHSAA state championship games this Thursday and Friday at Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Hoover and Opelika will tangle for the 6A crown while McAdory and Spanish Fort will meet for the 5A title.
In class 4A, Oneonta will meet up with UMS-Wright while Fayette County and Madison Academy will square off against each other for the 3A championship.
In 2A, Tanner meets up with Washington County while Brantley and Marion County will go at it for the 1A state crown.
Of the 12 teams, five are undefeated. In 3A, Fayette County—who defeated W.S. Neal in round two—defeated the lone region 1 team Straughn Friday night in Straughn in the semifinals.
Fayette County comes out of region 3 while Marion County comes out of region 8.
