Both the W.S. Neal Middle School girls and boys came away with a sweep of the McCall Wolves Tuesday at home to improve their record.
The Lady Eagles avenged an earlier loss to McCall Tuesday at home to improve to 2-4 this year and the Eagle boys got back on the winning track after suffering their first loss in their last game against Jay to improve to 5-1.
The Lady Eagles came away with a 32-24 win while the boys won 33-27.
W.S. Neal was set to be back in action Wednesday at home against Jay. Both teams will be back in action Monday at home against Flomaton at 3 p.m.
The game will be the final game of the season for the Eagles.

WSNMS Lady Eagles 32, McCall 24
Kametria Lawson poured in 18 points—including three 3-pointers—to lead the W.S. Neal Middle School Lady Eagles to an eight-point win over McCall Tuesday in East Brewton.
W.S. Neal led McCall 9-8 after the first quarter and held a 16-12 lead at the half following a 7-4 advantage in the quarter.
In the third quarter, the Lady Eagles edged out McCall 7-6 to increase their lead to 23-18 heading into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth, the Lady Eagles ended the game on a 9-6 run to get the win by eight.
Along with Lawson’s 18 points, Marisha Fraser finished in double figures with 10 points. Tia Lewis and Kayla Johnson both finished with two points each in the win.
W.S. Neal was 1-for-6 from the free throw line while the Lady Wolves were 4-for-17.

WSNMS boys 33, McCall 27
Trailing 25-23 with 3:06 left in the game, the W.S. Neal Middle School Eagles ended the game on a 10-2 run to come away with a six-point win over the Wolves 33-27.
The Wolves jumped on W.S. Neal early as they led 9-5 after one quarter. McCall built a 14-5 lead with 4:02 left to play in the first half, but the Eagles rallied with an 11-0 run to end the second quarter with a 16-14 halftime lead. W.S. Neal outscored McCall 11-5 in the second quarter.
In the third quarter, McCall responded with an 8-5 advantage over the Eagles to retake the lead 22-21 heading into the fourth quarter.
Trailing by one in the fourth, W.S. Neal outscored McCall 12-5 to get the win—including the 10-2 run in the final 3:06.
Kenny Walker led the Eagles in scoring with 12 points and Jacoby Hawthorne added eight points in the win. J.T. Lane chipped in seven points while Brandon Conway had three. Tyrese Anderson finished the game with two points and Keith Barksdale had one point.
W.S. Neal shot 4-for-9 from the free throw line while McCall was 7-for-15.
