JDCC softball to hold camp Saturday

The Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk softball team will hold a softball camp Saturday, Jan. 26 at the JDCC softball field.
The camp will begin at 8:30 a.m. with three different sessions along with a provided lunch.
From 8:30 to 9 a.m., registrations and warm-up will be held and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. hitting will be the focus. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to noon. Following lunch, pitching and fielding will be done from noon to 3 p.m.
The camp is open to athletes from age 8 to entering seniors. Cost of the camp will be $50 early registration and will increase to $55 on the day of the camp.
Camp sessions are designed to improve the fundamental skills of softball, such as catching, throwing, hitting, bunting, pitching, fielding and overall knowledge. The entire JDCC softball team along with its coaching staff will be providing instruction.
