Chicken Whisperer coming to Brewton Saturday

For those considering building a flock of chickens at home, the Brewton location of Tractor Supply Company is coming to the rescue.
The Chicken Whisperer, aka Andy Schneider, will be presenting information Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on how to manage a backyard flock.
Tractor Supply Company is located in the former Winn Dixie location on Douglas Avenue near T.R. Miller High School.
There are many advantages of keeping a small backyard flock of chickens and you no longer have to live on a farm to benefit from these advantages. As the nation’s leading expert on the backyard chicken movement, the Chicken Whisperer shares his knowledge with others about how to start small backyard flocks of chickens the right way the first time without having to re-invent the wheel.
Schneider will be broadcasting his internet radio show live on location at 10 a.m., and will be teaching a Getting Started with Backyard Chickens workshop starting at 11:30 a.m. He will be available for pictures, autographs, and questions immediately following the workshop. Baby chicks will be available for purchase. All ages are welcome to attend.
