W.S. Neal’s undefeated baseball team is ranked No. 1 in 3A, according to the Alabama Sportswriters Association poll released today.

The Eagles (6-0) beat rival T.R. Miller last Friday night to win the Escambia County tournament and beat St. Paul’s 4-2 Tuesday. They face Clarke County Friday night.

T.R. Miller (4-1) is ranked No. 6 in the poll. The Tigers beat Flomaton Saturday to win second place in the county tournament and beat Flomaton 5-4 Tuesday night. They face Excel Friday night.
