WSN JV baseball sweeps Greenville

In their first two games of three during the week Monday at home, the W.S. Neal JV baseball team swept Greenville 10-0 and 10-3 to improve to 12-4-1 this season.
In game one, W.S. Neal scored six runs in the second inningsand added four more in the third to get the win.
At the plate, Dakota Graves had a single followed by Jared Cooper’s two singles. Lane Chavers and Dalton Shell also had a single.
On the mound, Rob Jones earned the win going three innings and allowing one hit, no runs, walked two and struck out five. Nick Glass went the final two innings and allowed no runs or hits, walked and hit one batter while striking out five. W.S. Neal benefited from eight walks in the win.
In game two, W.S. Neal finished off the sweep with a 10-3 win.
At the plate, Derrick Barton led with two doubles while Chavers, Glass and Colton Morris had one single each.
On the mound, Morris earned the win in four innings and allowed three hits, no runs, walked four and struck out six.
Justin Sessions went the final inning and allowed three hits, two runs, walked none, hit one and struck out two.
