TRM and WSN tennis splits Thursday

In a Thursday tennis match in Brewton between the T.R. Miller boys and girls and the W.S. Neal boys girls, the two teams split.
The W.S. Neal boys improved to 3-2 this season with a 4-3 win over the Tigers. T.R. Miller fell to 1-5 with the loss. In girls action, T.R. Miller improved to 4-2 with a 7-0 win over W.S. Neal. The Lady Eagles fell to 1-3-1.

No. 2 Trin Miller (TRM) defeated Gary Likely (WSN) 8-4
No. 3 Garrett Cave (TRM) defeated Sam Boyington (WSN) 8-6
No. 4 Issac Watson (WSN) defeated Sam Terry (TRM) 8-3
No. 5 Mitchell Fails (WSN) defeated Edward Hart (TRM) 9-8

Doubles:
No. 1 Hall/Likely (WSN) defeated Carlson/Travis Carlson (TRM) 9-7
No. 2 John West/Nash Diericks (TRM) defeated Boyington/Watson (WSN) 8-5

Girls singles:
No. 1 Bridget Casey (TRM) defeated Allison Miller (WSN) 8-1
No. 2 Mary Allison Peace (TRM) defeated Heather Thompson (WSN) 8-5
No. 3 Haley Reiss (TRM) defeated D’Maiya Barton (WSN) 8-1
No. 4 Erin Wade (TRM) defeated Jasmine Carter (WSN) 8-0
