Eagles fly over Hurricanes to put record at 21-0

The W.S. Neal Blue Eagle baseball team kept their undefeated momentum going Monday evening with another check in the win column.

Taking down the Flomaton Hurricanes by a score of 10-5, the Eagles upped their record to 21-0 on the season.

The Eagles used a seven-run third-inning to aid in the win. Damion Williams had a two-run homerun in the inning to put the Eagles on top.

Taking the win on the mound was Cam Blackman pitching a four-inning game. During his time on the mound, Blackmon allowed only five hits and three runs. No walks were taken and the pitcher struck out seven Hurricane player.

Also pitching on the mound for the Eagles was Tyler Joyner and Jeremy Myers to help get the win.

The Eagles will play for the area championship title Thursday taking on Bayside Academy in East Brewton. The first pitch will be at 5 p.m.

To Eagles need only one win to clinch the area title and move on to host Staughn in round one of the playoffs.
