Mrs. Annie Will Pearson, 95, died Saturday, June 1, 2013 in a local hospital. She was a native of East Brewton and a longtime resident of the Brewton area. She was the social editor at The Brewton Standard for 23 years, served as choir director at East Brewton Methodist Church, and volunteered with the “Gray Ladies.” She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Brewton and was preceded in death by her husband, Clint Pearson.
She is survived by a daughter, Gale P. Rawlings of Albuquerque, M. M.; two grandchildren, Shelley Rawlings and Richmond (Melissa) Rawlings; one great-grandson, Hudson Rawlings; and first cousin, Frank Alex Ashton.
Graveside funeral services were held on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. at Union Cemetery with Dr. Ed Glaize officiating and Cravers Funeral Home directing.
