Summer meals set at WSNES

The Escambia County School system has begun their annual summer food program offering breakfast and lunch meals at no charge for students.
The program, which is offered to students under the age of 18, began June 3 and will continue until June 27 at W.S. Neal Elementary School in East Brewton.
The hours of operation for breakfast is from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday through Thursday. Lunch hours are from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. No meals will be served on Fridays, officials said.
The program offers nutritious meals at no charge for children in the community regardless of need or income status.
Each day’s menu will vary based on guidelines established through the Child Nutrition Program for the Escambia County School System.
