Mr. Bryan Lewis James, 22, of Brewton, Alabama, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Mobile. He was a native of Pensacola, Fla., and a long-time resident of Brewton. He was a 2008 graduate of Cornerstone Christian Academy, and worked as a crane rigger for B & S Welding. He was a member of Edendale Holiness Church and he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ausie Lee and Ella James; and his maternal grandparents, the Rev. Walter E. and Doris Jacobson.
He is survived by his parents, Leo and Brenda James of Brewton; a brother, Brandon (Rebecca) James of Citronelle; a niece, Ava James of Citronelle; his girlfriend, Amber Futral of Semmes; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Saturday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 16, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Brewton with Brother Eugene Futral, Brother Aaron Brock, Brother Donnis Bowman, and Brother Philip Deane officiating. Burial will follow at Edendale Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Matthew Backlin, Shane Backlin, Ethan Howell, Joseph Bagwell, Jonathan Brock and Benjamin Brock. Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Duke, Robin Nelson, Will Galloway, Shannon Backlin, Bruce Morris and Jim Fountain.
