Mabel Faye Findley Brantley

Mrs. Mabel Faye Findley Brantley, 96, of Foshee Road died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at her residence after a brief illness. She was a native of Brooklyn and a long time resident of the Foshee community. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of East Brewton, a volunteer for Redemption Promise Ministry and a retired loom tender from the Brewton Ribbon Mill with 34 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morey Brantley; and a son-in-law, Rob Reed.
She is survived by a daughter, Audrey “Boots” Reed of Brewton; a brother, Albert Findley of Foley; three grandchildren, Shelby (Harold) Sellers of Brewton, Beth (Tony) Bell of Walnut Hill, Fla., and Doug (Donna) Reed of Uriah; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 27, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Adam Armstrong officiating.
