TRM football to host Flomaton in preseason game next week

T.R. Miller Tiger head football coach Jamie Riggs has released the 2013 Tiger football schedule for his team. The schedule for 2013 is the same as the 2012 schedule, just with the locations of the games being different.
T.R. Miller will have five home games and five away games in 2013 with three home region games and four on the road. Of the three non-region games, Sweet Water will be played on the road while the Tigers will be hosting Atmore and Clarke County.
Region games for T.R. Miller will be Opp, Excel, Bayside Academy, Cottage Hill, Southside Selma, Straughn and W.S. Neal. T.R. Miller will have homecoming on Friday, Oct. 11 against Southside of Selma.
Atmore went 3-7 last year while Opp was 6-4 and Excel went 4-6. Bayside finished their 2012 record with a 7-5 record while Clarke County was 6-5. Cottage Hill went winless in 2012 with an 0-9 record while Southside Selma was 2-8. Straughn advanced to the state semifinals and was 9-4 while the Eagles of East Brewton went 9-3 and Sweet Water went 11-3. T.R. Miller went 10-2 last year with losses coming to W.S. Neal and to Midfield in the second round of the state playoffs. T.R. Miller will play a preseason game at home on Friday, Aug. 23 against the Flomaton Hurricanes. All games are set for 7 p.m.
