BMS football announces schedule

Brewton Middle School head football coach Gerald McAnally has released his team’s 2013 football schedule. McAnally and the BMS Tigers have seven games scheduled for the upcoming season with three at home and four being away.
Brewton’s schedule will see home and away games against W.S. Neal Middle School, Excel and Monroe County while the Tigers will travel to Ernest Ward for one game this season.
The Tigers will kick off their 2013 season on Thursday, Aug. 29 when they head across Murder Creek to take on W.S. Neal.
The Tigers will play their first home game the following week when they will host Excel at Brewton Municipal Stadium. Following two road trips the next two weeks at Ernest Ward in Florida and at Monroe County, Brewton Middle School will have an open week on Sept. 26.
Following the open week, Brewton will host Monroe County on Oct. 3 before traveling to Excel on Oct. 10.
Brewton will play their final game of the season at home against W.S. Neal on Oct. 17.
All games will be played on Thursday nights at 6 p.m.
The Tigers finished with a 3-2 record last season.

• Thursday, Oct. 3, Monroe County, Home, 6 p.m.
• Thursday, Oct. 10, Excel, Away, 6 p.m.
• Thursday, Oct. 17, W.S. Neal, Home, 6 p.m.
