Lavell Wiggins Drawbaugh

Mrs. Lavell Wiggins Drawbaugh, 86, of The Trails, died Friday. August 15, 2013 in a Scottsboro medical center after a brief illness.

She was a native of Arkansas, a former resident of Foley and a longtime resident of Brewton before moving to Scottsboro two years ago.

She was of the Assembly of God faith and a former employee of Judy Bond and Dixie Apparel in Brewton.

She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ballard.

She is survived by four sons, Jimmy Ballard of East Brewton, Larry (Denise) Ballard of Birmingham, Bobby (Brenda) Drawbaugh of Scottsboro, and David Drawbaugh of Mobile; one daughter, Judy Smith of Long Beach, Miss; one sister, Merlene Long of Louisville, Ken.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Aug. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013 at 11 a.m. form the chapel of Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Green Acres Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
