A look at the first two weeks of the high school football season for TRM and WSN

Hello Brewton area sports fans and happy Wednesday to you. I hope your week so far has went well for you and I hope the last part of your week will go even better.
We are two weeks down already for the 2013 high school football season and are two days away from the third game of the season.
This morning, I had a few extra minutes of free time and I decided to look at how T.R. Miller and W.S. Neal have done so far this season.
Yardage:
As for yardage so far in their two games this year, T.R. Miller has racked up a total of 785 yards and has scored a total of 10 offensive touchdowns. T.R. Miller has a total of 663 yards on the ground so far this season with eight touchdowns while accumulating 122 yards through the air and connecting for two touchdowns.
For the Eagles of East Brewton, W.S. Neal had 578 total yards of offense with six touchdowns. W.S. Neal has rushed for 504 yard in their two games and has scored five touchdowns. Through the air, W.S. Neal has 74 passing yards and only one touchdown.
Scoring:
As for scoring so far in the 2013 season, T.R. Miller has scored 72 points while they have given up 25 for a differential of +47. W.S. Neal has scored 44 points this season and has surrendered 21 points for a differential of +23.
This season, T.R. Miller has not surrendered a point in the first half. The Tigers have held their opponents scoreless in the first quarter while racking up 22 points of their own and have outscored opponents 29-0 in the second quarter. In the third quarter, T.R. Miller holds a 21-6 scoring advantage while in the fourth quarter they are being outscored 19-0.
Overall for the first quarter T.R. Miller holds a +22 point differential and a +22 point differential in the second quarter for an overall +51 in the first half.
In the second half, T.R. Miller is being outscored by four points. The Tigers hold a +15 point differential in the third quarter while being outscored by 19 in the fourth quarter.
For W.S. Neal, neither the Eagles or their opponents have scored in the first quarter.
In the second quarter, W.S. Neal has outscored opponents 24-6. In the third quarter, W.S. Neal has been outscored 15-14 while in the fourth quarter they hold a 6-0 scoring advantage.
Overall for the first quarter W.S. Neal has a 0 point differential and a +18 point differential in the second quarter for an overall +18 in the first half.
In the second half, W.S. Neal is outscoring their opponents by five points. The Eagles hold a -1 point differential in the third quarter while holding a +6 point differential in the fourth quarter.
T.R. Miller, who is 2-0 overall this season and 1-0 in region play, will travel to play the Excel Panthers this Friday night. T.R. Miller is ranked No. 3 in class 3A.
W.S. Neal is 1-1 overall this season and 0-1 in region play. W.S. Neal will host Cottage Hill this week. I wish for continued success for both T.R. Miller and W.S. Neal this season.
