Loraine Kimmons

Mrs. Loraine Kimmons, 56, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at her residience. She was a native and lifelong resident of Brewton. She was a retired LPN, having graduated from the LPN program at Reid State Technical College. She was a member of Jubilee Full Gospel Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Lois Barksdale; and brothers Gene Barksdale and William Bobby “Little Fox” Barksdale.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Jerry W. Kimmons of Brewton; four sons Billy (Rebecca) Bulechek of Chesapeake, Va., William (Tammy) Harrelson of Perdido, Timothy Lee (Elizabeth) Harrelson of Jay, Fla., Buck Kimmons of Flomaton; two daughters, Shalaina Kimmons of Flomaton, and Marissa (Gene) White of Brewton; one sister, Faye Dykes of Jay, Fla.; and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Reo Pugh officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home in charge of arrangements..
Pallbearers were Daniel Hoomes, Scott Hoomes, Brandon Stople, Gene White, Joey Wyatt and Jason Wyatt. Honorary pallbearer was Chris Johnson.
