Brewton’s Sears store will soon be under new ownership.

Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores announced this week that new owners Chris and Willonese Purvis are taking over the local store.

“We are delighted to have Chris and Willonese Pruvis and their team serving customers in the Brewton community,” said Jim Tarrer, district sales manager for Sears Hometown Stores. “They have a knowledgeable team in place with the focus on providing customers with great products, exceptional customer service and a wonderful store experience.”

The store will hold a grand re-opening Friday and Saturday, with special discounts and giveaways.

The Sears Hometown Store in Brewton offers a selection of appliance brands such as Kenmore, Maytag, KitchenAid, Whirlpool, Bosch, Frigidaire and GE, along with an assortment of lawn and garden equipment, Craftsman tools, fitness equipment, mattresses and more.

Tarrer said the Brewton team can provide customers with professional advice, service and real-time price checks. Customers can also order online and pick up items in store without a shipping charge.

The store will also offer Sears Nationwide Service and Parts and Installation.
