Mrs. Annie Laura Jernigan Thomas

Mrs. Annie Laura Jernigan Thomas, 85, of Thomas Road died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at a local hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. Thomas was a native and lifelong resident of Brewton and a member of Edendale Holiness Church. She was a retired seamstress from Judy Bond with 20 years of service and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Thomas; two sons, Ed Mack Thomas and Roy Thomas; one daughter, JoAnn Thomas Steele.
She is survived by one son, Michael (Gina) Thomas of Brewton; one daughter-in-law, Paula Thomas of Jay, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Rusty (Brooke) Steele, Amanda Steele, Nanci (Marty) Kent, Jason (Suzanne) Thomas, Brooke (Danny Sellers) Thomas, Ashley Bridges and Trisha Bridges (John) Guenseamier and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel of Brewton.
Funeral services were scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Boutwell officiating. Interment will follow in Edendale Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
