Ms. Carrie Agee

Ms. Carrie Agee, 91, of Evergreen died, Oct. 22, 2013.
Mrs. Agee attended school in Conecuh County and later received a GED. She then moved to Milton, Fla. and later returned to Evergreen where she continued to pursue a career as a head cook for Holiday Inn in Evergreen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Richard and Chaney Agee; her grandparents and all of her siblings except one.
She is survived by one daughter, Henrietta Kirby of Maricopa, Ariz.; one son, Roosevelt Gray of Los Angeles, Calif.; one brother, Levon Agee of Brewton; ten grandchildren, Alfonso and Herman Shaw of Nymph, Roderick “Ricky” Gray of Evergreen, Tilton and Christopher Gray of Tuscaloosa, Erica Nicholson of Evergreen, Juwanta Steed of Chandler Ariz., Deonne and Katrice Gray of Los Angeles, Calif., and Aubrey Goff of Evergreen; twelve great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Evergreen with the Rev. Kenneth W. Kidd officiating. Interment followed in Jordon Memorial Garden in Evergreen with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
