Brewton Reborn has a Sunday afternoon celebration planned as part of its November programs.

The first Rock the Dock will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the loading dock at The Hourglass downtown.

Residents can bring a potluck dish, drinks and a lawn chair to enjoy fellowship and live music at the Hourglass’ loading dock.

Anyone who wants to sign up for a spot in the open mike portion around 3 p.m., said Connie Baggett, director of program management for the City of Brewton, who has been leading the Brewton Reborn project.

The Rock the Dock party — which will be held every Sunday in November — fulfills one of the November Brewton Reborn tasks, which call for residents to hold potlucks; visit with senior citizens; and “fix it even if you didn’t break it.”
