The W.S. Neal Lady Eagles went winless in the 2013 version of the Escambia County tournament to fall to 1-8 overall. W.S. Neal opened tournament play with a 47-16 loss to the Escambia County Lady Blue Devils on Friday.
In their game Saturday, W.S. Neal lost to T.R. Miller 27-22. In their final game Monday, the Lady Eagles of East Brewton lost 39-37.

Friday: ECHS 47, WSN Lady Eagles 16
The W.S. Neal Lady Eagles had a difficult time with the press defense of Escambia County Friday afternoon as they dropped a 31-point loss to the Lady Blue Devils by a score of 47-16.
Escambia County jumped out to a 7-0 lead early and then used a 10-0 run to build a 20-6 lead after one quarter of play. From there, ECHS took a 26-11 lead at the half after edging out W.S. Neal 6-5 in the second quarter.
In the third quarter, W.S. Neal was held to only one point while Atmore poured in 14 of their own to grab a 40-12 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth, Atmore outscored W.S. Neal 7-4 to get the win.
Leading W.S. Neal in the loss was Mariah Davis with seven points. Jasmine Crook followed with four points.

Monday: Flomaton 39, WSN Lady Eagles 37
Leading 37-35 with 53.5 seconds left in the game, the W.S. Neal Lady Eagles let their late lead slip away as Flomaton rallied for a 39-37 win.
W.S. Neal led Flomaton 8-7 after one quarter of play and 17-14 at the half.
In the third quarter, W.S. Neal succumbed to a 10-0 run by Flomaton to see a 23-17 lead with 3:38 left in the quarter turn into a 27-23 deficit with 1:07 left.
Flomaton would go on and lead W.S. Neal 27-26 heading into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth, W.S. Neal was outscored 12-11 to take the defeat by two points.
KeKe Floyd led with 14 points while Mariah Davis had 10 points.
