An Atmore man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Escambia County 10, state troopers said.

Billy Ray Willis, 67, was killed when the 1994 Dodge Caravan he was driving left the road and overturned. The accident occurred at 3:47 p.m., about 10 miles north of Atmore.

Troopers said Willis, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.

The accident remains under investigation.
