Eight Mile
Mrs. Diane W. Young, 63, born Sept. 18, 1950, a native of Brewton and a resident of Eight Mile, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie M. and Hazel B. Williamson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Tommy Young; one son, Stephen C. (Mary) Young; one daughter, Brooke (Chris) Young; two sisters, Carolyn (Ben) Jackson and Barbara (Mike) Bailey; one brother, Greg (Ronda) Williamson; five grandchildren, Thomas Lauren, Paxton, Genesis and Stephen Christopher, Jr.; a very loved and special friend, Martha Clay LaForce; numerous loved nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home. Interment followed in Valhalla Memorial Gardens with Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home directing.
