Sara Mae Boone Cochran
Vaiden, Miss.

Mrs. Sara Mae Boone Cochran, 84, of Vaiden, Miss. died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 at a Brewton nursing care facility.
She was a resident of Vaiden and had recently relocated to Brewton. During her working years she worked as the assistant manager of a fruit and vegetable stand. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Aaron Cochran; her parents, John and Mae Boone; a brother, James William Boone; a granddaughter, Degee White.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Doug) Emerson of Ormond Beach, Fla., Linda (Steve) White of Flomaton, Darlene (Rocky) Maxwell of Brewton and Wendy Cochran of Wrightsville, Ga.; sisters, Margaret Lovie Jeffers of Baker, Fla., Ora Bernice Cauthen and Janice (Ben) Kelley, both of Vaiden, Miss.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Midway Methodist Cemetery in Vaiden, Miss., with the Rev. Junior Davis officiating and Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
