JDCC basketball suffers 76-64 loss to LBW Monday night

In a postponed conference game from earlier in the week Monday night at home against LBW, the Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk basketball team dropped a 76-64 loss to the Saints from Andalusia.
JDCC trailed LBW 37-35 after one half of play before being outscored 39-29 in the second half to take the loss by 12 points. The loss dropped JDCC to 3-11 overall and to 1-5 in conference play.
Chris Oden led the Warhawks with 18 points and was joined in double figures by two other Warhawks. Michael Hutchins added 14 points and Anthony Bell added 12.
Christian Jones chipped in six, JaQuan Threatt, Mikwese Claybourne, and Keaynon Gulley all had four points while Sherman Rountree finished with two points.
Hutchins led the Warhawks with six points and Threatt finished with four assists to lead.
Hutchins led with two blocks while Gulley led with three steals.
The Warhawks will play at Bishop State Thursday before returning home Monday to host Enterprise State. Both games are conference games and will begin at 7 p.m.
