Fishers of Men to start 2014 season soon

The Fishers of Men Alabama South has announced their 2014 tournament schedule.
The group’s schedule shows seven tournaments with two being Legacy tournaments.
The tournament season is set to begin on Saturday, March 8, at Middle Tensaw Lake and will launch off the Live Oak Landing.
On Saturday, March 22, the group will fish at Lake Eufaula and launch from the Lakepoint Resort.
Following the March 22 trip in Eufaula, the group will head to Miller’s Ferry on Saturday, April 12 and launch from Ellis Landing.
On Saturday, May 17, the group will fish on the Alabama River from the Swift Creek ramp/marina. The group will finish up with a tournament on Demopolis Lake on Saturday, June 21.
The Legacy Schedule will begin on Saturday, May 3, on the Tombigbee River and launch from the Coffeeville Landing.
The final Legacy event will be held Saturday, June 7, at Miller’s Ferry and will be at Ellis Landing.

Fishers of Men Ministries is proud to announce that they are adding a new series available to be fished starting in 2014.
This new series is the High School Legacy Series. There are numerous divisions in the northern part of Alabama, but none in the Southern part.
These tournaments will be fished along with the participating divisions Legacy tournaments.
To qualify for the Championship you have to fish at least two of the tournaments. The Championship will be fished along with the Legacy National Championship.
The National Championship is fished in July of each year.
A team will consist of two high school students and one adult who is nineteen or older to be the boat captain.
If you are interested in more information on this series and being a part of it please contact Allen Couch as soon as possible.
Each school will have to have at least three teams in order for the event to be considered a qualifying event.
