Arrests for the Wed., Feb. 26, 2014, edition

The City of East Brewton’s Police Department responded to a total of 40 calls for the week of Feb. 15-21, 2014. They responded to one burglary, one accident, provided seven escorts, and assisted 16 other agencies and 15 other calls or walk- in complaints.

 

The following charges were file with the City of East Brewton for the week of Feb. 15-21, 2014.

Feb. 16

Earnest Ray Benjamin was charged with 3rd degree theft of property.

Feb. 17

Alice E. Spriggs was charged with 3rd degree theft of property.

Feb. 19

Mattie McClelland was charged with failure to appear.

 

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office received 246 complaints for the week of Feb. 15-21, 2014. They also responded to ten domestic calls, provided transportation for 29; served 33 civil papers, provided no domestic escorts and four funeral escorts.

Harassment on Ammons Road, Atmore.

Trespassing on Sunset Drive, Atmore.

Domestic disturbance on Jacksprings Road, Atmore.

Domestic violence on Poncy Road, Atmore.

Criminal Complaint on Crossover Lane, Brewton.

The following charges were filed with The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department for the week of Feb. 15-21, 2014.

Feb. 15

Marcia L. Freeman, 31, female of Hwy 4, Century, Fla., was charged with failure to appear, third degree theft of property and violation of probation.

Feb. 16

Robert A. Spears, 22, male of Kadee Lane, Flomaton, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Joseph M. Kotich, 64, male of Little Pond Road, Brewton, was charged with third degree domestic violence menacing.

Feb. 17

Shawn C. Haskew, 27, male of Jacksprings Road, Atmore, was charged with failure to register as an adult sex offender.

James Madison, 51, male of Houston Boggs Land, Camden, Ala., was charged with failure to appear.

Jason Pugh, 47, male of McGougin Road, Brewton was charged with failure to appear, harassment, menacing and violation of probation.

Feb. 18

Cecil Montgomery, 60, male of Forrest Hill Road, Flomaton, was charged with second degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Morris Thomas, 62, male of Oakland Circle, Brewton, was charged with negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument.

Amanda Harris, 34, female of Brynville Road, Century, Fla., was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and interfering with child custody.

Victoria Desilvey, 23, female of Pouncey Road, Atmorem was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dyland Callahan, 19, male of Slash Pine Road, Jay, Fla., was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Russell E. Jones, 23, male of Woodchuck Road, Brewton, was charged with first degree receiving stolen property.

Makhail Reynolds, 26, male of Middleton Lane, Atmore, was charged with failure to appear.

Leandra Corey, 23, female of Pouncey Road, Atmore, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Feb. 20

Leonardo Cuenca, 20, male of Tenth Avenue, Atmore, was charged with tampering with physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance, second degree possession of marijuana and minor in possession of alcohol.

Marsha Bolton, 37, female of Weaver Road, Brewton, was charged with third degree domestic violence, assault and third degree domestic violence menacing.

Feb. 21

Kandi M. Maples, 29, female of Ben Ahmilton Road, Grand Bay, Ala., was charged with public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance, third degree receiving stolen property and third degree theft of property.
