Alabama Southern sweeps JDCC baseball Tuesday

Fresh off their first conference sweep Saturday at home against LBW, the JDCC Warhawk baseball team was on the other end of a sweep Tuesday at Alabama Southern picked up two wins over the Warhawks. With the sweep, JDCC fell to 6-12 overall and to 4-6 in conference play.
The Warhawks lost 7-1 to the Eagles in game one and dropped a 3-1 loss in game two.
In game one, Roman Donofro, Garrett Davis and Jacob Fillmore all pitched in the loss for the Warhawks with Davis being the pitcher of record.
The trio went six innings and allowed 12 hits, seven runs, four earned, walked and struck out one.
At the plate for JDCC, Jonathan Moore was 2-for-3, John-Mark Cosby went 1-for-3, Logan Hill was 1-for-4 with a double and Brandon Goins was 2-for-3.
In game two, Trey Marshall and Taylor Baynes pitched for JDCC and Marshall took the loss.
The duo went six innings and allowed 11 hits, three runs, two earned, walked one and struck out three.
At the plate, Moore and Michael Fox had two hits while Dake Rivers, Goins and Cameron Davis had one hit each. Rivers and Goins both had a double while Moore had the lone RBI.
