TRM baseball pounds Hillcrest

T.R. Miller’s No. 2-ranked baseball team pounded Hillcrest 22-2 Thursday in Evergreen to improve to 9-1 this season.
The Tigers held the Jaguars to two runs in the fifth inning while plating two of their own in the second, one in the second, 10 in the third, four in the fourth, and five more in the fifth to get the win by 20 in five innings.
Hunter Brittain earned the win on the mound as he worked three innings and allowed one hit, walked two and struck out four.
Drew Williamson went the final two innings and allowed two hits, hit one and struck out one.
At the plate for the Tigers, Jones Manning had three singles and one RBI while Williamson had four singles and three RBIs.
Kyle Davis had a double and a single and two RBIs while Tim McDonald had a single and one RBI.
Brittain added five singles and four RBIs, Tripp Floyd had one RBI, Ryann Gray had two singles and one RBI, Caden Lodge had a double and two RBIs and Chris Jones had a single and one RBI.
