Jay edges out WSN softball

W.S. Neal’s Lady Eagle softball team dropped their second straight game Friday as they lost to Jay 1-0.
The loss for the Lady Eagles was also the second straight shutout for the Lady Eagles as they fell to 9-6 with the loss.
Haleigh Dubose was the losing pitcher for the Lady Eagles. Dubose went seven innings and allowed three hits, one unearned run, walked none and struck out eight.
Adria Barnett, Madison Winchester and KeKe Floyd all were 1-for-3 at the plate for W.S. Neal while Tori Wyatt went 2-for-3.
Jay’s lone run came in the sixth inning.
