TRM JV softball gets two wins over Flomaton

T.R. Miller softball’s JV team swept a home doubleheader Friday against Flomaton to push their record to 4-1 this season.
The JV Lady Tigers took down Flomaton 4-1 in game one and 8-1 in game two.
In game one, Steely Ruzic earned the pitching win as she went seven innings and allowed four hits, one run, none earned, walked two and struck out seven.
At the plate for the Lady Tigers, Grace Ruzic had two hits along with Myra Reiss who had two RBIs.
Anna Kate Brittain had a single while Caitlyn Smith had a double and one RBI.
Mallori Floyd added two hits with one being a triple and one RBI.
Ruzic and Madison Douglas had one hit each in the win.
In game two, Reiss and Kaleigh Folsom teamed up in the circle to lead the Lady Tigers to the win. Reiss was the pitcher of record as she went the first four innings and allowed three hits, one run, none earned, walked two and struck out three.
Folsom pitched one inning and walked and struck out one.
At the plate, Reiss had two hits along with Kyla Bell who had one RBI.
Mary Madison Brown added a hit along with Folsom and Hannah Lisenby who both had one RBI each. Gabbi Solomon finished with a single and one RBI, Taylor Austin had one RBI and Douglas had two hits and two RBIs.
