The Thunder rolled with nine runs in the third inning to edge out the Giants 14-11 Thursday.
The Thunder scored four runs in the first inning, nine in the third and added one in the fourth while holding the Giants to four runs each in the first and fourth innings, one in the second and two in the third.
For the Thunder at the plate, Tremer had one hit while Tiffany Reiss had two singles. Khadejah Askew added a single in the win for the Thunder.
For the Giants, Hartsel had a single along with Brianna Pugh and Dominique Jackson. Tatum Reeves added a double and triple. Hartsel had one RBI.
Madison Tremer pitched for the Thunder while Caitlin Hartsel and Taylor Peters pitched for the Giants.
On opening day last week, the Giants took down the Thunder 4-3. All four runs for the Giants came in the second inning.
Hartsel was the winning pitcher. She also added one hit. Also for the Giants, Makayla Crook had a hit while Jackson added a three-run homerun.
For the Thunder, Grace (no last name) had a hit while Tiffany (no last name) also had one hit.

Brewton Nationals go 2-1
The Brewton Cal Ripken Nationals baseball team has started their 2014 season with a 2-1 record.
The Nationals opened their season on opening day with a 4-2 win over the Brewton Red Sox.
On Thursday, the Nationals edged out the East Brewton Royals 5-3. On Friday, the Nationals suffered their first loss of the season as they were handed an 8-7 loss by the East Brewton Mets.
Against the Red Sox, Logan Bush pitched a one-hitter. Bush went six innings and allowed one hit, two runs, none earned, walked five and struck out 10.
At the plate for the Nationals, Drew Reed, Mac Baxter, Earl Dolihite and Bush all had one hit each.
For the Red Sox, Ladon Sims and Whitley Lisenby pitched with Sims being the pitcher of record. The duo went five innings and allowed four hits, four runs, three earned, walked seven and struck out 12.
Lisenby had the lone hit.
Against the Royals, the Nationals trailed 3-0 after the top of the fifth before scoring all five runs in the bottom of the inning to get the win.
Bush and Dolihite pitched in the win and combined to go six innings and allowed three hits, three runs, one earned, walked one and struck out 12.
At the plate, Brandon Coleman had one hit along with Landon Qualls while Blake Jernigan had two hits with one being a double.
For the Royals, Sawyer Lewis had two hits and C. Nowling (no first name given) had one hit. Lewis and Nowling both had a triple.
Jennings Hobbs and Jacob Bondurant pitched in the loss.
Against the Mets, the Nationals suffered their first loss of the season with an 8-7 loss.
Bush, Reed, Jernigan, Dolihite, and Baxter had one hit each.
Brandon Coleman and Reed pitched in the loss with Coleman being the pitcher of record.
For the Mets, Samuel Bosarge had two hits along with C. Madden while C. Sexton had one along with S. Wright.
Wright and Bosarge pitched in the win for the Mets.
