WSN track competes in Selma Tuesday

In the third annual Dallas County Bobby Dolbare Invitational Tuesday at Jordan Memorial Stadium in Selma, the W.S. Neal girls and boys track teams placed 15th and 10th respectively. The girls were scored in 17 events and saw 21 teams take place in the meet. The boys were also scored in 17 events and saw 23 teams competing.
The meet was hosted by Dallas County.
The Lady Eagles scored 11 points in the meet while the boys posted 24.
Along with W.S. Neal in the girls meet was: Robert E. Lee, Stanhope Elmore, Linden, Demopolis, Marengo, Dallas County, Elmore County, Selma, St. Jude, Wetumpka, Isabella, Park Crossing, Keith, Billingsley, Notasulga, W.R. Martin Middle School, Verbena, Goshen, Sidney Lanier and Greenville.
Robert E. Lee took first place with 112 total points.
In the boys meet was: Dallas County, Stanhope Elmore, Jeff Davis, St. Jude, Demopolis, Billingsley, Robert E. Lee, Elmore County, Linden, Park Crossing, Greenville, Wetumpka, Notasulga, Isabella, Maplesville, Selma, Keith, LeFlore, Goshen, Sidney Lanier, Wilcox Central, and W.R. Martin Middle School.
Dallas County took first place with 112.83 points.
