The 2014 Brewton Babe Ruth baseball season will kickoff Monday, May 5, at T.R. Miller’s baseball field.
There will be four teams in the league this season—Arizona State, Arkansas, LSU, and South Carolina. Each team will have 12 players on it for a total of 48 players.
Each team will play one game each night with games being played on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The week of May 12, games will be played on Friday, May 16. Monday and Thursday games will be played in Brewton while Tuesday’s games will be played at Johnson Park in East Brewton. Overall, teams will play 18 games with 12 scheduled for Brewton and six in East Brewton. The first week of the season, games will be played at 6 and 8 p.m.
Starting May 12, games will be played at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
The season will end Thursday, June 12.
