The Brewton baseball Nationals rallied with a six-run sixth inning to defeat the Brewton Red Sox 7-6 Thursday night.
The Red Sox led the Nationals 3-0 after one inning and 5-0 after two innings. The Nationals cut the lead to 5-1 in the third inning but saw the Red Sox get a 6-1 lead in the fourth. In the fifth inning, the Nationals scored six runs to get the one-run win.
In the final innings of play, Logan Bush and Brandon Coleman walked with one out for the Nationals. Drew Reed singled scoring Bush and Blake Jernigan doubled scoring Coleman and Reed. With 2 outs and Jernigan on 3rd and Earl Dolihite on second, Landon Qualls tripled to right center. Jernigan and Dolihite scored to tie the game. Will Reed then singled to right center knocking Qualls in for the winning run.
For the Nationals, Bush had two hits and Coleman had a hit along with Drew Reed who had one RBI. Jernigan added a double and two RBIs while Qualls had a triple and two RBIs. Will Reed also had a hit and one RBI.

For the Red Sox, (no first named provide) Brittain, Martin, Sims, Lisenby, Adams, and Smith all had hits. Martin had two RBIs and a triple while Lisenby and Adams also had one RBI each.
Sims pitched in the loss.
In recent youth sports action, the Brewton Nationals, EB Giants, and EB Bulls all claimed wins.
The Nationals downed the EB Mets 17-4 Monday night while the EB Giants went 1-2 in games played last Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The Giants lost to the Blazers 6-5, lost to the Thunder 13-4 and defeated the Blazers in a rainout makeup game 10-9.
For the EB Bulls, they went 2-1 in their recent games. The Bulls lost to the Hot Rods 6-3 before downing the previously undefeated Iron Birds 7-5 and then winning over the Lions 13-8.

Nationals 17, Mets 4
The Nationals scored 12 runs in the first inning to cruise to a 17-4 win over the Mets.
For the Mets, (no first names provided) Sexton had a double. For the Nationals, Logan Bush and Blake Jernigan both had a double each while Brandon Coleman had a triple.
Coleman earned the pitching win by J. McCall took the loss for the Mets. S. Wright and S. Bosarge also pitched.

EB Giants
Against the Blazers last Tuesday in their 6-5 loss, Brianna Pugh, Tatum Reeves, Makayla Crook and Dominique Jackson all had hits with Reeves having one RBI. Pugh and Caitlin Hartsel pitched in the loss.
Against the Thunder, Reeves had a hit while Taylor Peters and Hartsel pitched in the loss.
In the win over the Blazers, Hartsel had two hits while Pugh had one. Crook had two homeruns and two RBIs while Jackson had a hit along with Reeves and Peters. Both Reeves and Peters had one RBI each.
Hartsel and Pugh pitched in the win.

EB Bulls
For the Bull in the 6-3 loss to the Hot Rods, Tyler Fraser had two hits with a homerun and two RBIs while Hunter Shoffner had a triple.
In the win over the Iron Birds, the Bulls second, third and fourth hitters went 6-for-6 with five RBIs. Eli Stone had two hits while E.J. Gibson had two hits with a homerun and two RBIs. Eli Atkins added two hits, a homerun and two RBIs.
Against the Lions in their 13-8 win, Dashon Fraser had two hits while Keagan Adams added two hits in the win.
