The lawn of the Escambia County Courthouse was filled Thursday as locals celebrated National Day of Prayer. Messages and songs were heard from the Rev. Jack Fitts, the Rev. Chase Clower, the Rev. Parker Johnson, the Rev. Ed Glaize, the Rev. Todd Ray, the Rev. Josh Coates and the Rev. Tommy Quick. Goers were urged to pray for local, state and national government leaders.
