Dogwood Hills Golf Club to host 2014 summer junior golf programs in coming months

Dogwood Hills Golf Club will host their 2014 Summer Junior Golf Program during June and July.
The program is open for age groups 10-16 and will be divided according to the number of participants. Some golf clubs will be available to use from Course.
The program will be divided among three skill levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced.
There are no fees for the junior programs and the range balls and sessions are free. Nine holes of gold will be $2.50 while 18 holes will be $5. Anyone under the age of 16 must have a paid adult driver for golf cart. Cart rates are determined by course management.
Weekly prizes will be handed out for skills contest along with individual and team play prizes. Prizes are donated by private funds.
Registration will take place at the pro shop at the golf course. Instructors will be Josh White (251-236-5003) and Scott Pate, manager and course superintendent at Dogwood Hills (251-809-1750).
Dates of the program will be June 4, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 23, and 26th along with July dates of 2, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 21, 24, 28 and 31st. The time of the program will be 10 a.m. to noon. The focus will be golf etiquette, fundamentals and rules.
