Following the same schedule as Tuesday’s games after Monday’s rainouts, LSU swept Arkansas in their two games while Arizona State handed South Carolina a loss.
LSU won game one over Arkansas by a score of 13-3 and followed the 10-run win with a 7-6 win in the second game of the night between the two teams.
In the nightcap, Arizona State took the series over South Carolina with a 5-2 win.
With one week left in the 2014 regular season, LSU stands in first place in the league with an 11-4 record while South Carolina is in second place with an 8-6-1 record.
Arkansas is in third place with a record of 6-9 followed by Arizona State in fourth place with a 4-10-1 record.
The league will play their final week of games Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in Brewton. Games will be played at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
The week’s final games will see Arizona State and Arkansas meeting in their three-game series while South Carolina and LSU will tangle on the diamond.

Game one: LSU 13, Arkansas 3
Leading Arkansas 7-2 after four innings, LSU scored six runs in the bottom of the fourth to get a 13-3 mercy-rule win over the Razorbacks of Arkansas.
LSU led 3-0 after two innings and 6-2 after the third inning. LSU grabbed a 7-2 lead in the fourth before outscoring Arkansas 6-1 in the final inning.
Lane Clark pitched in the win for LSU while Drew Williamson took the loss for Arkansas.
Williamson went two innings on the mound while Jo Jo Booker went one and Garrett Salter pitched the fifth inning along with Matt Hutchins.
Clark went the complete game and allowed four hits, three runs, one earned, walked two and struck out five.
The Arkansas quartet of pitchers combined to allowed six hits, 13 runs, four earned, walked four and struck out eight while hitting two batters.
At the plate for LSU, Brandon Moye, Kristian Taylor and O’Neil White all had one hit each while Colton Young had three. Moye had a double and Young had a triple. Stoke Jennings and Taylor had one RBI each along with Moye while Young had three.
For Arkansas, Drew Williamson had three hits and one RBI while Hunter Revel had one hit. Williamson had a double in the loss.

Game two: LSU 7, Arkansas 6
In game two, LSU rallied to force extra innings and outscored Arkansas in the extra frame to get the one-run, 7-6 win.
The two teams played to a 0-0 tie through three innings before Arkansas scored four in the fourth inning and one in the fifth to grab a 5-0 lead.
From there, LSU scored two in the fifth, and after trailing 5-2 in the sixth, scored three runs to tie the game at 5-all. In the extra inning, Arkansas scored one run while LSU added two to get the win by one.
Clark, Jennings and Moye all pitched for LSU and combined to go six innings and allowed five hits, six runs, two earned, walked five, struck out seven and hit two batters.
Booker and Hutchins pitched four LSU and combined to go six innings and allowed three hits, seven runs, three earned, walked five and struck out nine.
At the plate for LSU, Clark, White and Hayden Winchester all had hits. Clark had a double in the win.
Clark and White had one RBI each while Winchester had two.
For Arkansas, Williamson, Booker, Hutchins, Revel and Trentez Johnson all had one hit each. Hutchins and Revel had a double each while Hutchins and Johnson had one RBI each and Revel had two.

Arizona State 5, South Carolina 2
Hunter Brittain struck out 20 South Carolina batters for Arizona State Thursday night to lead the Sun Devils to a 5-2 win over the Gamecocks. The win was Arizona State’s second in three games over USC.
Brittain went the complete game seven innings and allowed three hits, two runs, both earned, walked two and struck out 20.
Jacobey Hawthorne took the loss on the mound for USC as he went seven innings and allowed two hits, five runs, one earned, walked six and struck out eight.
At the plate four Arizona State, Russell Smith had both hits and one RBI while Hawthorne had one hit for South Carolina and Caleb Winton had two. Winton had a double and two RBIs in the loss.
South Carolina led Arizona State 2-0 after the first inning before allowing one Sun Devil run in the third inning, three in the fifth and one more in the seventh to get the win by three.
South Carolina made five errors in the loss while the Sun Devils were error-free.
